SKEM was written by Mikhail Teterin in his spare time and is, probably,
full of bugs. That said, Mikhail has been running it for years on a busy
mail server without noticeable ill-effects.

No guarantees, however, can be expressed nor implied -- use at your own
risk.

This version of SKEM can be used by anyone for free and ports to various
Operating Systems are encouraged. Although Mikhail will greedily claim
ownership of any patches sent to him, the author(s) of the patches will
be gratefully acknowledged.

People reckless enough to base their own products (commercial or not)
on this software will have to contact Mikhail Teterin for a written
permission (commercial endeavors will likely have to pay a modest fee).
